Band 8a - Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist

Department: Pain Service

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced specialist nurse to join our highly regarded team. This is a senior post in an acute and chronic pain service working in multiple settings.

You will have the opportunity to work within three major hospitals, Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary’s, all of them with a world renowned reputation for education, research and clinical care provision. Your role will encompass these three important aspects.  You will be working in a well established team, which will enable you to provide evidenced based expertise and advice for patients, inpatient medical teams and general practitioners.

An MSc qualification in pain management is essential and you will need to have 3 year’s experience at Band 7, in either an acute or chronic pain service.   We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
