Surgical Clinical Teaching Fellow including ENT

1 Year Fixed Term with a possibility of extension based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICH).

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is committed to delivering the best medical teaching to our undergraduate students and in order to do this we are expanding our existing pool of Undergraduate Teaching Fellows.

We are looking to recruit a Surgical Undergraduate Teaching Fellow with a focus on ENT who will focus on enhancing undergraduate education within the Trust. This post will be site-based however cross-site working and attendance at other site meetings will be required.

The post holder will be expected to:

  • Deliver a minimum of 3 ENT teaching sessions per week (1.5 - 2 x days per week)
  • Attend weekly team meetings
  • Participate in examination skills, clinical skills, simulation training and bedside teaching
  • Work with UG Team to ensure smooth running of OSCE and PACES
  • Contribute to educational development
  • Create a team to promote educational research
  • Provide welfare support for students
  • Design and implement projects to develop new learning opportunities
  • Participate in a study programme for a postgraduate qualification in education
