Band 6 - Cardiology Clinic Nurse

Are you looking for a challenge? Do you always put the patients first? Are you methodical in your approach? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? Do you want to learn something new?

If yes to all the questions above then please keep on reading.

We are looking for a competent and confident Band 6 Cardiac Nurse to manage one of out- patient sites.

The aim of the Community Cardiology Service is to deliver a more accessible, efficient and cost-effective service for patients closer to their homes. This is provided within dedicated satellite clinics across Hammersmith & Fulham, Central & West London and Ealing. Although the post will be based at one site they will be expected to work across sites when required.

The post holder will help to provide and support cardiac diagnostics services as well as support Consultant and Specialist nurses clinics.

The successful candidates will join a friendly team who will help support their learning and orientation into the role. We believe this is a fantastic team to work with and look forward to having someone who will join us as we provide excellent care for our patients.

The post holder will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team. Therefore applicants will have extensive experience and knowledge of working within an acute cardiac setting. The applicant will require good organisational and interpersonal skills. The successful applicants will be given appropriate training.

This is an interesting and challenging role. Applicants are advised to attend an Informal visit to understand the service better.

Interviews will be held on the 6th February 2018
