We are looking for a NWLP Senior Server Engineer on a full time basis to complement our Infrastructure team. The responsibilities of the role:

  • Day to day liaison between the Server and Network teams and the NWLP service
  • Weekly and monthly service level reporting on performance of infrastructure hardware
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on calls raised by the NWLP service
  • Pathology infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring and reporting.
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of the server and network standards, policies and procedures relating to the NWLP environment
  • Implementation and monitoring security within the server and network infrastructure.
  • Implement and support approved changes.
  • Schedule and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
  • Updating server infrastructure documents.
  • On call support.

 In addition to the above responsibilities, strong communication skills to include an ability to liaise with technical and non-technical individuals will be critical to your success. You will be tasked to manage your own workload and work autonomously while also retaining the ability to work collaboratively with the wider ICT Department.

The post will report directly to the Data Centre Manager, who reports directly to Infrastructure Manager.
