CT2/3 Equivalent

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

We are actively looking for 2 SHOs (CT2/3 equivalent) in Plastic Surgery for a 6 month fixed-term period at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

The posts are based at both the Charing Cross and St Mary’s sites and will provide a wide range of experience. The main work of the Department centres around microsurgical reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, skin cancer, breast reconstruction, extremity reconstruction and elective hand surgery. The Department provides Plastic Surgery support to the Major Trauma Centre at St Mary's Hospital.

The successful applicants will preferably have some previous experience in Plastic, Orthopaedic or General Surgery and be registered and licensed with the General Medical Council.

The post is to commence at the beginning of February 2018 for 6 months.

These SHO posts are not formally approved training posts, but the post holders will have Consultant-led education and supervision and will be supported in their professional development.
