Charing Cross, Hammersmith, St Mary’s, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea and Western Eye

With five world-renowned hospitals, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is full of opportunity if you are looking to develop your healthcare career.

We are an NHS Trust of 10,000 people, providing care for over a million patients from north west London and beyond every year. We have a rich heritage and an ambitious vision for the future of our patients and local communities.

With our partners, Imperial College London, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and The Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, we form Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre, one of 11 academic health science centres in the UK, working to ensure the rapid translation of research for better patient care and excellence in education.

We are proud of our heritage in innovation and we are early adopters of new insights in technologies, techniques and treatments for improving health.

Band 7 IR Radiographer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to join our Interventional Radiology Team at Charing Cross Hospital. The department consists of 2 bi-plane interventional rooms (Philips Allura and Azurion).

You will form part of a dedicated IR team providing excellent patient care and radiographic expertise in neurological and general interventional procedures. This includes cerebral thrombectomy (24 hour service), neuro embolisations and TACE. This specialised role will offer the opportunity to build and extend on your clinical expertise and also develop your management, training and leadership skills. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses and other multi-disciplinary teams within the Trust. We recognise that education and training is fundamental and support role extension and further learning.

The Imaging department at Charing Cross Hospital offers a comprehensive range of procedures over all modalities in both clinical and research fields. As part of the first Academic Health Science Centre, our aim is to provide world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training. The sites within the Trust are recognised as specialist centres for Renal Transplant, Cardiology, Major Trauma, Hyper-acute Stroke, Paediatrics, and Respiratory Medicine.
