We are looking for a high-performing individual to join us to provide assurance to the Divisional Director, Medical Director, and ultimately the Trust Board, that patients are not coming to clinical harm as a result of waiting too long for treatment.

The Clinical Review Project Lead is a key member of the Divisional Leadership Team, responsible for professional nursing leadership to the waiting list improvement programme through ensuring that processes to minimise clinical harm are embedded across the division, organisation and local health economy.

In this role you will be responsible for leading the clinical review process, undertaking  root cause analysis and supporting clinicians to complete clinical reviews in a timely and thorough manner. You will have overall responsibility for building on the existing systems and processes to ensure appropriate clinical review of patients on the Trust’s waiting lists. In addition you will lead the root cause analyses of patients waiting over 52 weeks, oversee the collation of documentation to support consultants in undertaking clinical reviews and determining levels of harm.

You will need energy and resilience, but you will have the support and backing of the senior team. This role will provide you with an opportunity to raise your profile and enhance your reputation as a person who delivers results for the improvement of patient care.
