Band 6 MRI Radiorapher

St Mary’s NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust and Imperial College merged to create the UK’s first Academic Health Science Centre. The aim is to build on the three excellent foundations to provide even stronger world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training.

The MRI post involves learning how to undertake MR scanning while rotating through four GE MR scanners performing a diverse range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a department with a large R&D portfolio. The successful applicant will use three 1.5T GE HDX systems and the 3T GE VR750 scanner. Extended day, weekend shifts and on-call are a requirement of the post so a flexible approach to work is essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated Radiographers who enjoy the challenges a major trauma centre will offer within a friendly multidisciplinary team in a central London location.You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to cope with a very wide portfolio of services from paediatrics and cardiac, major trauma through to interventional MRI.
